IX - International Tourism Days

On the 22nd of November, students from the Degree in Tourism and Sustainable Business, within the scope of the Fundamentals of Tourism curricular unit, were present at the IX - International Tourism Days, which took place on the 21st and 22nd of November, in the city of Águeda. The themes presented and the excellent speakers led participants to enter the timeless tourist imagination of travel through Portugal; Costa Rica; Brazil; Cape Verde; Malta; travel by train, car, motorbike, bicycle; the strategies for valuing the territory through the ecopista network and routes; reflections on the tourist tax: as a sustainability measure; the opportunities and challenges created in local accommodation; planning and organizing unique events; effective communication of the territory; and support lines for project development and financing. ISPGAYA was represented by Professor Óscar Silva and the students who demonstrated a very proactive and interested stance in these IX - International Tourism Conferences in Águeda.
