Solemn Session

The Gaia polytechnic honored, in a Solemn Session, students, teachers, staff and the previous President, Professor Doctor Lino Tavares Dias. The Solemn Session took place in Corpus Christi, in Vila Nova de Gaia, it was an academic, celebratory event, where diplomas were awarded and the best students in each course were honored with a certificate of merit. There was also a moment of recognition for teachers and staff, for their long and meritorious careers at the Institute, which included the participation of Professor Lino Tavares Dias, previous President who left office last August. The ambassadors of the ISPGAYA schools were also announced and the students who won the Padre Freitas Prize were awarded. The Session ended with the usual Port of Honor and a moment of conviviality between the participants.
