ISPGAYA celebrated International Laughter Day, with a special activity, highlighting the importance of laughing and sharing moments of joy. To celebrate the date (January 18th) we created an exhibition at our institution with photographs of smiles shared in our community. Benefits of Laughter: A Treasure for Health and Well-Being Laughter is not just a response to something funny; It is also a powerful tool for improving quality of life. Among its benefits, the following stand out: · Reduce stress and promote relaxation, relieving physical and emotional tension; · Strengthen physical health by improving circulation, breathing and the immune system – it even helps burn calories! · Taking care of mental health, preventing depressive states, reducing anxiety and elevating mood; · Increase energy and creativity, improving memory and motivation; · Create and reinforce social ties, promoting self-confidence and leadership qualities; · Transform negative emotions into positive ones, such as friendship and compassion; · Connect body, mind and soul, providing balance and general well-being. The important thing is to laugh and enjoy the benefits that this simple gesture can bring!
