Business Law students immerse themselves in legal reality

On 30 May, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, a study visit took place to the Palácio da Justiça in Vila Nova de Gaia, within the scope of the subject Business Law.

This study visit was a unique opportunity for students to better understand the functioning of the judicial system and the judicial environment in general. In addition, it allowed the practical application of the knowledge acquired in the classroom, providing students with an enriching experience. During the visit, students were able to observe proper behaviour in a courtroom, visit the Bar Association room, a judicial office and prison cells. Finally, they had the opportunity to watch a trial, identifying all the elements that compose a legal relationship.

The study visit aroused great stimulus and motivation in the students, encouraging them to expand their practical knowledge in relation to the theory taught in the classroom.
