Cultural Laboratory Open to the Community
The Cultural Laboratory of ISPGAYA – Instituto Superior Politécnico Gaya, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, operates the Reading Club - Lês a Lés directed by Dr. Dália Dias and the EnCena Theater Group directed by actress Mariana Santos.

Colégio de Gaia was recently highlighted in the edition of the newspaper O Gaiense, as part of the "Best School" project. This initiative, in partnership with Vila Nova de Gaia City Council, offers a platform for educational institutions to promote their activities, projects and achievements, enriching the dialogue about education in the municipality.

Escola Secundária de Canelas had its newspaper highlighted in the newspaper O Gaiense regarding the 9th edition of the "Best School" project, an initiative promoted by the newspaper in partnership with the Municipal Council of Vila Nova de Gaia.
Gaia National Youth Capital
The President of ISPGAYA, Professor Jorge Simões, was present at the awarding of the distinction to Gaia as “National Youth Capital”, which took place on January 20th, at the Municipal Auditorium of Gaia.
