Math Afternoon

ISPGAYA celebrated Mathematics Day with an afternoon dedicated to mathematics! Our establishment was the stage for an inspiring activity dedicated to this fascinating discipline. During the afternoon, we delved deep into the world of numbers, formulas and mathematical concepts. The students, guided by Professors Catarina Lucas and Joana Paulo, gathered to participate in engaging lectures, practical and interactive activities that highlighted the importance of this science in our daily lives. We discuss applications of mathematics in areas such as science, technology, engineering, economics and much more, inspiring the search for innovative solutions to the challenges of the modern world. The Mathematics Day event at ISPGAYA was a celebration of the transformative power of mathematical knowledge and our institution's ongoing commitment to promoting academic excellence and critical thinking. We would like to thank all the participants and collaborators who organized this special event!

"Poetry is for eating"

The ISPGAYA Cultural Laboratory held, on March 20th at 7:30 pm, a performance with the participation of its three groups: The EnCena Theater Group, the Lês a Lés reading club and Atuna Bira Copos. The motto was set by a verse from the poem “A Defesa do Poeta” by Natália Correa – “Poetry is for eating”. The performance was presented by project Coordinator Drª. Luísa Rodrigues, theater trainer, actress Mariana Santos and literature trainer, Drª. Dália Dias. The event took place in the ISPGAYA bar, where, around a table, performed poems and delicacies that are part of them were shared. Registration is still open! ISPGAYA is present at the Employment Exchange at Palácio da Bolsa

On March 12, 2024, ISPGAYA stood out once again by participating in the Employment Exchange, held at Palácio da Bolsa, in the city of Porto. The Employment Exchange, which promotes a Job Fair, was a highly relevant event for students and professionals looking for opportunities in the job market. The main objective of the event was to create a space conducive to interaction between companies and potential collaborators.

Employability Fair: Another Successful Edition

The ISPGAYA Employability Fair 2024 brought together approximately 400 students from the CTeSP and Bachelor's Degree programs of the Schools of Sciences and Technologies and the School of Business Sciences with some of the best companies in the market in the areas of information technology, computer science, industry, electronics, robotics, software, automation, management, and financial services.

ISPGAYA and CIC - Carvalhos Boarding School strengthen institutional partnership

Within the scope of the Institutional Cooperation Protocol between ISPGAYA and CIC - Carvalhos Boarding School, the Director of the School of Business Sciences, Professor José Castro Oliveira, accompanied by Professors Óscar Silva and Filipa Silva, was received this morning at the CIC facilities by the Pedagogical Director, Engineer Evaristo Moreira, by the member of the Pedagogical Directorate, Dr. João Paulo Reis, and by peers from the corresponding scientific areas.
