Start It Project

ISPGAYA organised the first mobility of students and teachers of the Start IT project. This project, led by HTW Berlin, is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme (support line KA2) and also has the participation of 4 other European higher education institutions, DKIT (Ireland), UL (Poland), Centria (Finland) and AP (Belgium).

From 14 to 24 September, 50 students and 12 teachers from the participating institutions worked, studied and socialised, under a general theme that concerns everyone, sustainability. The students, integrated in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams, developed mobile applications and the corresponding business plans, applied to the local context, Vila Nova de Gaia, and to the promotion of a more sustainable tourism in the region.

The next mobility takes place in March 2023 in Berlin.
