ISPGAYA highlights the results of the partnership established with MOVIT Power Transmission (MOVIT – Comércio de Máquinas e Equipamentos, Lda.) regarding a project developed during the Work-Based Learning (FCT) period of student Rúben Cristiano Teixeira da Silva, from the Industrial Engineering and Automation (EAI) degree program.
The project also benefited from the collaboration of students Bianca Silva and Gabriela Oliveira—from the Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) in Mechanical Technologies (TM)—who contributed to the 3D prototyping component, thereby demonstrating the importance of multidisciplinary cooperation and the link between higher education and the business sector.
ISPGAYA extends special thanks to Engineer Ricardo Mendes—a faculty member, alumnus, and MOVIT Power Transmission collaborator—for his collaboration, coordination, and guidance throughout this project. The outcome represents a significant contribution to the enhancement and modernization of the institution's automation laboratories.
