Computer Law Course Takes Students to Visit Vila Nova de Gaia District Court

During this morning, first-year students of Digital Marketing in the CTeSP program undertook a field trip to the Vila Nova de Gaia District Court as part of the Computer Law course, taught by Professor Gouveia Falcão.

Upon arrival, the students were welcomed by Judge Coordinator, Mrs. [Name], who guided them through the courtrooms and offices, facilitating their attendance at an ongoing trial. Following the conclusion of the trial, the students had the opportunity to explore other areas of the court, including the Order of Lawyers room and the prison cells, with the presence of a PSP (Public Security Police) officer.

The field trip proved to be a stimulating experience for the students, serving as an educational tool to enhance their understanding of both the judicial context and the legal system in general. It also provided a practical application of many topics covered in the course, contributing to a more comprehensive assimilation of classroom learning.
